| Description |
This production's interpretation is updated from Shakespeare's Elizabethan England to that of the Roaring Twenties. A time of flappers. fops and jazz when the class system still went unquestioned and the misery of the Depression and the War was as yet unthinkable - a "Golden Age". Above all it was a time for the young and the young at heart, for wine and song. "cakes and ale". |
