By Eugene O'Neill. "The play centres around Anna, a young woman who, after an illness, decides to spend some time with the father she knows only from occasional letters. She then meets and falls in love with a young coal barge captain, Matt. She discloses some secrets to both Matt and her father, testing their relationships."
