| Description |
A new dance work that explores how old and new ways of indigenous life can be embraced.
From Performance Space database:
"A new dance work by Torres Strait Islander dancer and choreographer Albert David dedicated to his grandfather, Eddie Mabo. The Giz (?the way?) presented a fusion of Torres Strait Island dance culture with contemporary dance forms, and features both live song and music developed by Stephen Francis and David Page. Holding onto the old and borrowing from the new creates a meeting place, a path, a voice and a way to tell - a new dance." |
