Description Bell Shakespeare Company. A Shakespearean comedy. "The twelfth night of Christmas, January 6, was traditionally a night of practical jokes, revelry and anarchy, a Feast of Misrule. A night where all the rules are made to be broken.
Twelfth Night's Illyria is a place populated by drunks, sailors, black market profiteers and celebrities. In Illyria personal fantasies clash with real life. Illyria is a crossroad where the extremes of affluence and poverty collide, creating one night of violent comic anarchy".
