Description An intriguing mystery play. It has all the features of the classic "who-done-it" with all of that genre's mystifying leads that turn out to be red herrings. Pinter's inovation is to deny the audience the answers that would provide a simple solution to the play's puzzles and to present instead a series of versions of the "truth".
