| Description |
The story of Aldo Machio, a melancholy southern Italian peasant, who escapes an appointment with certain death to become a wealthy Australian coffee baron. It is also a journey of exploration into the ways Australian sensibilities are inextricably mixed with the memory of other times and places. |
