| Description |
Set in contemporary Australia The Duck Shooter is the story of Barky , who two years ago sought a new life in the cane fields of Queensland. In the aftermath of his father's death he returns to confront his angy and resentful brother Wace. The story is an urgent , moving and often hilarious portrait of the secret life and world of Aussie men as they attempt to navigate themselves through the unfamiliar and uncomfortable territory of grief. It gets right to the heart of what it means to be a man in contemporary Australia |
