Producer Graham Hutchison said the ensemble had a long and fascinating history and its latest show had been worked up over the past 12 months, incorporating new dances, songs, comedy sketches and breathtaking costumes and scenery. "The ensemble is part of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs , which is the most important gorvenment department in Russia and includes the KGB " he said. The original Red Army Choir was put together in the early 1900s to entertain Russian troops at war fronts. |
