Description It's Christmas Eve 1945 and the fabulous Slocum Family Tent Show players are down on their luck. They're broke and desperate for an audience, they end up in Turnaround Creek. To the country folk the prospect of a show is a welcome diversion, but Barry the publican at the Shamrock is strangely unwelcoming. He remembers the last time the Slocums were in the district?

This revival of Nick Enright?s and Terence Clarke?s Summer Rain, a tale of rejuvenation and optimism, is a celebration of the late Nick Enright, one of Australia?s great story-tellers...and lyricists.
