| Description |
"Empire is performed in the car. Two actors up front, three audience members in the back. Five casts, each with a different director and a different spin, perform it in five different locations simultaneously... Two friends sit in their car, the unconscious body of a young woman lying behind them. Together they are about to make a decision as to whether they will give her over to an angry mob of vigilantes as a sacrificial offering to balance the dead of the Bali bombing and the terrorist attacks on New York." |
