Description |
"Prodigal is a contemporary Australian adaptation of the familiar biblical parable, 'The Prodigal Son' set in modern day Sydney. It tells the story of Luke Flannery and his typically Australian family, who live in the fishing town of Eden. On his eighteenth birthday Luke moves to Sydney, where he has been accepted into university. After accepting his sexuality and coming out, he plunges recklessly into Syndey's drug and party scene. After an overdose he returns home to confront his traditional parents and brother. Can Luke's family accept their son and his new lifestyle?" |
