It is the autumn of 1916 in a small country town in NSW. A young music student is mesmerised by the rhetoric of a recruiting rally and decides to enlist in the A.I.F. in order to fight for his country in the Great War. His decision will have far reaching effects on his family, friends and the girl he must leave behind. |
