August 1918. On the edge of a Somme Valley forest. On the eve of a battle. Two strangers, a journalist and a polish prostitute stumble upon the camp of tank crewmen awaiting instruction. The Crew's loyalty is called into question as the sounds of war encroach upon the camp. Their dilemma: a chance for life or the probability of death. |
