Description |
The play tells the astounding story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, collector of antiques, ranconteur, non-conformist, guardian of the past, Charlotte survived the Nazi terror, the Communist oppression of East Germany and the upheaval following the fall of the Berlin wall. What makes her story so extraordinary is that Charlotte van Mahlsdorf was a man, and lived her defiant, distinctive life adamantly on her own terms.
Jefferson Mays repeats his Tony Award winning performance in the role of Charlotte. |
