| Description |
Cat has big feet so her boyfriend calles her Duck. Cat has a smart best friend with a short temper, a middle-aged lover who writes novels, a boyfriend with a nightclub, a gun and some unfinished business. "Duck" is an adrenalin rush, a hyper-ventilating hymn to the age of the angry young woman. It expresses a sense of lives lead in a restless struggle against smothering boredom and asks how a bright, uneducated girl might escape an oppressive home, a dead-end job and deadbeat relationships in search of a brighter future. |
