| Description |
Lerner and Loewe's musical fantasy unfolds the story of two Americans who lose their way on a hunting trip in the Scottish highlands. They stumble upon the mystical village of Brigadoon which, because of a rare blessing, returns to life only one day every hundred years. The miracle soon becomes evident to the bewildered Americans, one of whom finds himself caught in the spell of Brigadoon, the excitement of the villagers as they prepare for a wedding and the charm of a village lassie. The other finds himself caught - by a flirtatious milkmaid. |
