Description The story of Mrs Sally Adams who is appointed envoy-extraordinary to an imaginary European state - Lichtenburg. She is extremely wealthy but maladroit in dealing with affairs of state. In Lichtenburg she meets both her fate and her Waterloo; the former in the shape of Cosmo Constantine, a member of cabinet and her Waterloo over the intricacies of an American loan and the royal etiquette. In fact, it results in her recall to Washington, but, being a musical comedy, you may be sure that everything will end happily.
