| Description |
Based on the 3000-year-old myth of Philomele and Procne, The Love of the Nightingale is an explosive drama about the power of words and the ultimate price of using violence to enforce silence. The story of two royal sisters from ancient Greece, taken to Thrace by King Tereus, tells of tragedy, loss and revenge and the final scenes carry a message of transformation and freedom. |
