Description |
Peter Finlay exhumes the ghost of Ned Kelly and presents on stage for the first time ever, the letter in which Ned Kelly tells his side of the story. Kelly holds an imposing place in the landscape of our collective unconscious and the power of his writing shows why. The only living record of Kelly's voice suppressed for eighty years, its vivid and muscular language has inspired writers including Peter Carey, who based the style of The True History of the Kelly Gang on its Celtic rhythm. |
