Description "Cake begins as a series of short stories by Astrid Pill and is a bittersweet mix of songs and story telling. Join Astrid at the kitchen table, sift through flour and song and listen as the story unfolds. It's about being inside a body that experiences appetite, fullness, pregnancy, desire and emptiness and about absurdity, pain, complexity, mess and escapism of romantic love. Zoe Barry joins Astrid in a performance that includes sensual accordion and cello accompaniment."
