'cLUB bENT' is the late night performance club of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, and was the winner of the 1995 special Mardi Gras award.1996?s Club Bent was a great success with over seventy performances. The informal cabaret style was well suited to the Performance Space, with many emerging and established artists presenting work to an unsuspecting audience. In the studio 'In Bed with It's Queer Up North' continued the relationship with cLUB bENT sister festival in Manchester UK, with screenings of video/film works by queer British artists. |
