"Can a city be danced? To what extent do artists form the shape, sound and feeling of a city? Compression 100 includes direct and indirect collaborations with Tess de Quincey and Stuart Lynch, with Sydney artists from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including many visual artists. Compression 100 took place in a variety of venues and sites around Sydney including a tunnel under St James station; Blackwattle Park Bay Park, Jubilee Park, Stormwater Channel Glebe Point; the Sydney Aquarium; the windows of the Mark Foy Building; and the tunnel at Lower Fort Street and Cumberland Street, the Rocks. |
