Description Project with the aim of developing street performance skills of local artists in Newcastle. Mentors worked with emerging artists. Over three weekends in February-March the public outcomes of the mentorship process were shown at Sunday Street Pitch. These events showed the work of the professional artists to the general public and the mentorees and helped to develop an awareness of professional practice in this field. The events also provided an environment in which the mentorees could display work in progress in an sympathetic environment.
