Description "Lulu vs Jack the Ripper is based on Pabst's work, also on the actor Louise Brooks who was Lulu in Pandora's Box, and 19th century German dramatist, Frank Wedekind's Lulu plays. Wekekind was obsessed with daydreams and the emotional psyche and he believed that female separation from the maternal would distort feminine nature. Lulu's death at the hands of notorious sex murderer, Jack the Ripper, is therefore a forewarning to females with unbridled sexual desires. For these views, Wedekind was considered an immoralist."
