| Description |
Smashed on the rocks of cultural identity, this Japanese ghost-ship gathers
mythology from the east and sinks down into the dark Butoh dementia of cabaret goddess Yumi Umiumare. Ancient hag Yamamba mutates from traditional womato harridan Ganguro while Hello Kitty Girl sells her pink panties to wrinklelovers. From Japan to Australia, audiences are unsure whether to laugh and cry or cut and run.
