Description |
As the countdown to the Sydney Olympic Games begins, frustrated writer Andy decides to pursue a brand new career path as a taxi driver. In the course of his adventures we meet 32 passengers, from drunken Americans to 101 year-old ladies to a couple of Liverpool lads who wonder why all Auistralian athletes are called Shane. And then there is Isabella, one very irritated girlfriend. The play is based on the book by Anthony Sherwood, written from his own experiences and is a celebration of a city and its people, a love story and a reminder of an innocent time. |
