Further Information 1915 novel, Classic Steps by John Buchanan based on a concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon was adapted to a screenplay by Alfred Hitchcock in 1935. This production has an Australian cast but is a restaging of the original London production of the stage play 39 Steps, an adaptation written in 2006. (LF)
