Description We follow the young Tamino on his random journey to love and enlightenment in Mozart's timeless masterpiece. With Papageno at his side to overcome the dark powers of the Queen of Night, Tamino's quest for truth, beauty and the girl of his dreams unfolds to the magic of Mozart's score.

This new production by Opera Queensland floats in time and speaks of make-believe and lives lived outside the ordinary. Scheming divas, an innocent clown, a ringmaster and a strongman come together to tell this tale of the supernatural all under a 1930's big top.
