Description |
Created by 'A Puppet Company' formed in 1983 as a link between puppetry and sculpture. It formed as a sequel or 'new act' for Jarry's Ubu Roi. Set in the present, Ubu has deposed the King of Poland and seeks an artist to paint his portrait. "Movement has been minimised placing an emphasis on the verbal aspect of theatre." Presented in Performance Space's Gallery. |
