Description |
To confront her titanic and paralysing fear of aging, nurse Jackie takes a job at a Jewish Home for the Aged. At 31, she feels she must come to terms with her own mortality lest she faint on the day when she looks in the mirror to find wrinkles and grey hair. But she soon finds she enjoys the residents' stories and learns that age brings experience, wisdom and humour to life.
Comic, real and poignant, this unusual (solo) puppet show uses unique verbatim testimony (from Emmy Monash Home for the Aged) with life sized puppets and character comedy. |
