| Description |
Exerpt from Director's Note: "Kafka's Dick ... is a play written by a man who began his career in Footlights revue. It combines comic banter, slapstick and a touch of insanity with the other serious stuff." |

Taken from Director's Note:
"When I first started with Footlights in 1981 comedy revue was its trade and had been for its then 52 year history. This much maligned and underrated form of entertainment which teaches its performers versatility and timing has been sadly dropped by the Club in favour of 'legitimate theatre'. This, I think, is unfortunate."
