In 1987, Yianni's teacher asked him that exact question. Yianni stood up, entertained the thought, then backed down. He simply had nothing to say. Surely he reasoned, with childish naivety, his teacher knew best. But an ensuing 20 years with a disappointing lack of long division has Yianni questioning the relevance of much of his education. |
