The Therry Society has been sponsoring the South Australian Catholic Schools' Drama Festival since 1962.The competing schools & plays are: St. Mary's Dominican Convent, Cabra with The Ugly Duckling by A. A. Milne; St. Aloysius' College, Angas Street with Quality Street by J. M. Barrie' S. Dominic's Priory College, North Adelaide, with Flora MacDonald's Mission by Sam Bate; St. Joseph's Girl's School, Thebarton with The Riddle by Walter Raleigh' Star of the Sea Convent of Mercy, Henley Beach with The Knave of Hearts by Louise Saunders; Blackfriars Priory School with an extract from Murder in the Cathedral by T. S. Eliot; Marist Brothers' High School, Thebarton with The Man Upstairs by Hugh Beresford; St Joseph's High School, Kensington with Magic in a Mirror by Robert Hadlington; St. Aloysius' College, Angas Street with A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt; Rostrevor College, Magill with Act 1 from Hamlet by William Shakespeare; Mercedes College, Springfield with The Bride by Gertrude Jennings; St. Mary's Dominican Convent, Cabra with Everyman, a Morality Play; St. Joseph's Girls' School, Peterborough with A Marriage Proposal, a joke in 1-Act by Anton Chekhov; & Mt.
