Description Performances consisted if horsemanship, leaping, sommersaults, slack rope, balancing, tossing a cannonball weighing forty pounds, clowns and jest. A juvenile acrobat, and blackface, "negro character". The performances last the week with Thursday devoted to the juvenile population. Friday profits, totalling 42 pounds and 14 s. to go to the Maitland Hospital. Saturday night (14th) the "first and only night of the celebrated Monkey Emperor Nicholas who will appear in conjuction with the well-known Tangorang, who has been engaged at an enormous expense to appear as the monkey tamer".
