Mis Mona Brand's three-act play had its premier at the New Theatre on Saturday. The story is essentially Australian, centred on a North Queensland station family. The mother, who is fanatical about "Australia for the Australians - provided they are white," is shocked when confronted by the Chinese wife of one of her soldier sons. |
