| Description |
'The promise of Mr. Sumner Locke-Elliott's Cow Jumped Over the Moon, which was produced at the Hollywood Callboard Theatre recently, is fulfilled in Interval, which will begin a season of eight performances at the Melbourne Little Theatre on Saturday next, September 14. A play of the theatre . . . its heartaches and headaches, jealousies and loyalties . . . the story concerns an obscure young actress and young playwright, in love, who unexpectedly find themselves linked as star and author of a successful play. The test of sudden fame and adulation finds them wanting. The actress discovers a temperament, and the author becomes an intellectual snob. |
