Further Information Fitz Roy Hotel was the old Amateur Theatre. Attendance so numerous that not all could be seated. I assume that the 'gun trick' refers to the ability to catch a bullet with one's teeth, as this was the previous description of the 'gun trick' when used to describe the feat of a circus performer earlier in this newspaper.
