| Description |
Glade is inspired by the music of Moroccan composer Armand Amar whose music I first heard in a documentary film about two male cheetahs in Africa. Images of nature played a role in finding the movement material for this work. I referred to these images in the four weeks I spent by myself in the studio whilst preparing the choreography. I also sent the link dancers some questions in relation to these images for them to answer in movement via videotape. For me the fascination for nature lies in the observation of it and that it frees us from personal limitations and puts us in communication wit |
