Description |
London 1888. The Autumn of Terror. Whitechapel is gripped by fear. A monster lurks in the shadows with murder on his mind and blood on his hands. Who will be his next victim? Meanwhile, life goes on. In the glow of the gaslights at the Paragon Theatre of Varieties in Mile End Road a little company of actors presents a melodrama inspired by the novel East Lynne. Join the prostitutes, parlour singers, coppers, toffs and assorted riff raff of Victorian London for a night of music and hilarity; villains and heroines; honour and redemption; a little bit of shock and a whole lot of shame. |
