We are drawn to what people confess to feeling, doing, knowing. One particular series of anonymous (un-gendered, un-aged, un-cultured) confessions facinate me. They served to ?re-catalyse? my preoccupation with the sameness of our ?stuggle? to be human that, inside the sameness, yields incredible and individual differences. I propose that this struggle breeds a defiance that works against a feeling of descent or spiralling downwards.
