If every time she moved it were the first time of moving that way, she would discover new things about her dancing. She would notice how her body felt; its weight and its dimensions. She would feel the air as it passed her face and slipped between her fingers. If this were the first time she had fallen in this way, it might surprise her or cause her to catch herself in a way she was unused to. She might tip or lean and then slowly steady herself. She might ride her momentum or catch herself mid-movement. The relationship between her body parts could be a new one; a perfect, jumbled alignment. |
