The first Australian comedy on a local theme, The Currency Lass is a charming conventional ballad opera with 14 songs and spoken dialogue by Edward Geoghegan. This revival has been slightly modified by Dennis Davison, who has added more songs, new lyrics and one scene not in the original text. |
