| Description |
While the premise for Melbourne Boys was to examine the viewpoint of masculine energy, Love Victoria was written as the reply with the feminine perspective to love and relationships. The connection between the two productions is within the linking of one of the female characters from Melbourne Boys into Love Victoria and is set 25 years on. Love Victoria is an all female piece set along a timeline of a few months with what is traditionally a very feminine event as the guide, a wedding. The 7 women manage to incorporate several sections of the female part of society. The topics covered range from sexuality to adoption and everything in between. Fear is a driving force for many of the discussions that happen on stage and everything is held together by some form of love. |
