Description A historical event that devastated the small Puritan community who saw to the execution of twenty of its villagers for Witchcraft. The Crucible explores themes of intolerance, reputation and empowerment; focusing it?s attention on a group of girls intent on accusing their peers of trafficking with the devil, and the destructive results of their exploits ? Our production, traditionally set, holds to the integrity of Miller?s text, shining a light on the dangers society can face when group hysteria supplants logic
