Vince is visiting his grandparents and bringing his girlfriend with him. His expectations turn to bewildered disillusionment as he faces an eccentric and often frightening family of antagonists holed up in a claustrophobic farmhouse somewhere in the great American Midwest. In this gripping play, the very meaning of family comes into question as these characters threaten, disparage, repudiate, and snipe at one another in a bizarre and explosive family reunion. |
