Description West Australian Opera brings opera to the masses this summer with a free outdoor performance of Gaetano Donizetti's timeless masterpiece The Elixir of Love. The romantic comedy tells the tale of the poor peasant Nemorino and his desperate love for the beautiful and wealthy Adina. Nemorino relies on what he believes to be a magic love potion in his attempt to win the heart of the indifferent Adina before she marries the arrogant Belcore.
