Description A performance concept called VILLAGE SPACE was developed using drama as a tool to tackle issues relevant to Catholic Mission's global humanitarian work. The performances are presented in the round to an audience seated on the floor, duplicating the conditions typical of a majority world village: minimal facilities and technology. Since 2003, Graham and Jepke have written and directed annual VILLAGE SPACE production for an ensemble of up to nine actors. The plays dramatise real life stories from Australia and around the world dealing with pressing social justice issues relating to human rights
