In recreating the vaudeville of 50 years ago, both in letter and in spirit, the Tivoli management have put on an excellent programme that will make an especial appeal to older members of the audience. It will also prove to the younger generation that there can be good entertainment without swing and other modern atrocities. In their search for realism the management served some members of the audience with foaming genuine pint pots of genuine beer. Only astonishment at the spectacle among the men prevented a general stampede into the stalls. |
