Description Margarite Morris, or Weekly, is a gossipy cleaning lady from England's Black Country. Adapted from Elizabeth Jolley's novel of the same name, the play centres on Weekly's day to day life. Most of her ladies, fearful of her gossiping tongue, compete for her goodwill. Until Nastasya, longing for the Europe she has fled, threatens the independence Weekly has carved out for herself. Set in 1965, capturing Weekly's world from the West Midlands to Western Australia
