Description Jack is dead and everyone is invited to the wake. Set in Jack's kitchen. Beth has nursed her father through Alzheimer's disease. She and three female friends bake, make sandwiches and chat while they wait for the mourners to return from the gravesite. At the end of the play the audience is invited to participate in the wake, as they are served food the women have prepared throughout the play
